APEX D-Cord is a flexible fuse containing uniform core load of PETN. PETN is embedded with two center cotton yarns to ensure uniform core load. The core is encapsulated in a synthetic tape and is provided with PP yarn and cotton yarn. These provide the required tensile strength reliability even in deep holes. The APEX D-Cord provided with final PVC coating covering to ensure water proofness and abrasion resistance.
APEX D-Cord is a flexible cord containing uniform core load of PETN which ensures positive initiation of cap-sensitivity explosives along the entire length of the fuse. APEX D-cord is a relatively insensitive to detonation by friction shock or electric discharge and requires a proper initiation for detonation.

APEX D-Cord 6gms cord is generally used for secondary blasting and in both open cast and underground metal mines and also used for trunk line connection is open cast mines tie up with shock tube
detonator. APEX D-Cord 10gm & 12gm is used for down line connections along with hole blasting etc for initiation of booster and for trunk line connection
APEX D- Cord 20gm &40gms for special application such as Seismic, smooth blasting line hole drilling.
APEX D-Cord is wound on reels and packed in laminated corrugated fiber board boxes
